Assignment #3: Music and Value

1. Read Chapters 15 & 16 by Goldman and Gracyk.

Begin composing an S&R for either Goldman or Gracyk.

Assignment #2: Defining Music (updated)

1. Begin reading Gracyk and Kania, Chapters 1&3.

2. Review (if necessary) handout S&R. Compose a complete S&R for Chapter 1.  Be prepared to share your views with the class.  S&Rs can be hand-written or typed.  I will collect S&Rs when we have completed our discussion of Chapter 1.
